    Linking to publications (i.e. from web profiles)

    When linking to scholarly publications online, for example from a web profile, we recommend using a standard publication identifier -- either a PMID or DOI -- as the basis for the target URL. This article explains why, where to find those identifiers, and how to create links with them.
