How to Create a Service Request for Computer Support


A user needs to create a Service Request for computer support.


1. Log into the IMS client portal at

2. Enter your UT Health username and password.

3. Once you are logged in, click the Services tab on the top of the page to open the Service Catalog.

4. From the Service Catalog, click on Hardware, Software, and Printing.

5. From the Categories menu, choose Computer Support, and Repair.

6. From the Services menu, click on UT Health Computer Repair and Servicing.

7. Click the Request Service link at the top right.

8. Fill out all requested information.  Please note that the PID approver will be pre-populated with the ticket creator's name.  You must change this to the actual PID approver.

9. Once all of the information has been input, click Request at the bottom of the page.
