UT Health Computer Repair and Servicing

Introduction:

Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) performs computer repair, malware removal, software installation, and other services for university-owned computers. Please contact your departmental Technical Support Representative (TSR) or the ITSM Service Desk at (210) 567-7777 for their guidance before submitting a request. If advised by your local IT unit, click on the Request Service button to request a service from ITSM.

  • Computer imaging / software installation / software configuration
  • Computer setup / user configuration
  • Computer relocation
  • Printer maintenance / repair
  • Hard drive removal / destruction

 

Eligibility:

Any university faculty and staff or student with a laptop purchased through the university may use ITSM services.

Cost:

Departments covered by a desktop support service agreement:

  • Labor and warranty parts are covered.
  • Non-warranty parts are additional (if applicable).

Departments without a desktop support service agreement:

  • Labor is billed $40 an hour.
  • Non-warranty parts are additional (if applicable).
