How to sync a user in DUO Console

  1.  Log into the DUO console with your username + password  https://admin-c532dc59.duosecurity.com/login?next=%2F  
  2.  Left panel, click on Applications, Users, then Directory Sync
  3. Click on WIN.UTHSCSA.EDU  middle of the page look for "Sync single user" (enter the username)
  4. Click on Sync This user (below you will get a green check mark synced successfully)
  5. Top screen field search “Search for users, groups, applications, or devices) enter the username
  6. Under Groups- DUO_VPN_USERS (from AD sync “WIN.UTHSCA,EDU) (13430 users)
  7. If there is not group listed, follow the step 2-5 again
  • Note- DUO console receives the information from Active Directory. If Active Directory does not have DUO_VPN_USERS, a Service Request is required.
  • POI and Guest account are NOT automatically granted permission for DUO access
