Connect VPN on Mobile Devices
Step 1.
Download Global Protect from the App or Play Store
Step 2.
Once downloaded open the app, if you receive a notification asking if you would like to allow notifications, select Allow.
Step 3.
Enter the portal address gpgateway.uthscsa.edu and select connect
Step 4.
You may get a pop up asking to add Global Protect to the VPN configurations. Select Allow.
Step 5.
Enter your UTHSCSA user name (not email) and UTHSCSA password and select sign in
Step 6.
You will then be prompted to authenticate with DUO. Select authentication and hit Complete form to connect
Step 7.
Once you've successfully authenticated with DUO your status should show connected.
Step 8.
Tap disconnect when no longer using.
