Currently this content type is only available for adding documents for the Office of Continuing Education projects and the instructions will be based on this. Future additions would be added in a similar fashion.
Fields on the Downloadable document content type are visible based on what section of the website you edit. These instructions are assuming that you are a LSOM site editor.
Visual Design Example
Forms that are uploaded using this content type will be displayed on some type of directory page similar to the image below. The arrows correspond to the fields in the edit form.
How to Add a Downloadable document
1. Click on Add content in the toolbar.
2. Add title, if you are a Global site editor all of the Website Sections will be available, please select Medicine. If you are a LSOM site editor your only option will be to select Medicine. Upload your document. Important: you must select Projects from the Document type field. Your document will not appear in this display if you do not.
3. At this time it is not necessary to choose a Form type, this is not being used in this example but is available for future use. Select as many Projects a you like.
4. At this time the Department or Office is only being used to filter content behind the scenes, and the only department that is using this content type is Office of Continuing Medical Education, please select that.
5. Click on Save.
Troubleshooting
At this time the only page availabe to view your document directory is this: https://www.uthscsa.edu/academics/medicine/education/cme/cse/projects. The page is not published, you must be logged in to view it. If you don't see the new document click on LSOM Content in the toolbar and filter by Downloadable document to find your new document. Click on the Edit link to review. Make sure that Document type is Projects, Website Section is Medicine and the Department or Office is Office of Continuing Medical Education.
