Troubleshooting Rightfax
Access
Only UTHSCSA accounts can use the Rightfax Service. Using a UTMSA account will prevent you from using the system or generate errors in the print driver or Fax Util.
Line and Number Verification
- Correct Number: Double-check the recipient’s fax number and ensure it is exactly 10 digits (ex. 210-999-9999).
- Line Test:
- Call the number from a phone to confirm it rings or connects to a fax tone.
- Busy Signal: If the line is busy, try again later or confirm the recipient’s availability.
Check Error Reports
Transmission Report: Review the report for success/failure codes and timestamps.
