Body
To add your own news, select Add Content > News
Enter a title and headline (these will be the same text).
Publication date is just for display (it does not govern when the news page is published.)
Enter the news in the body field. (A shortened version of the body field will be used as a teaser in the homepage news block and news directory.)
Add a new image in the Primary image field.
The Primary image will appear above the main body content on the right side, under the headline. (If an image is used on the news display lists, then this is the image that will appear for manually entered news items. Imported news items use the image from news.uthscsa.edu. For the Strategic Focus Areas news on the Research website, if no image is imported or manually added to the Primary Image field, then a placeholder image will appear.)
Click on the Select image button.
Click on Upload
Click on Choose File button
Navigate to the file on your computer.
Enter Alt text for accessibility.
Enter a name for the image.
Click the Select button.
Enter the alt text again.
News Filters on the Research Website
The Research news relies heavily on filters for the Strategic Focus Areas news. When adding new items to the site, please tag the items appropriately. (Imported items from News Room are automatically tagged, and should not be edited.)

To tag a news item, find the Health Conditions field under Filterable Options on the right hand side of the edit form. Start typing in the autocomplete field and select an existing Health Condition.
Click on Add another item button and repeat the step above to add additional items.
