Global Protect Connection Issue on a Mac

Issue: Global Protect Icon spins and status shows connecting

 

Resolution:

1. Click the Apple icon on the top left of screen and select System Settings

2. Select General then scroll down and select Login Items & Extensions 

3. Toggle on “Palo Alto Network”. If it is already on, toggle it off. 

4. Restart Mac

5. Once the Mac boots back up, sign and try connecting to Global Protect again. 

If you toggled off Palo Alto Networks in step 3, head back to Login Items & Extensions and toggle it back on before attempting to connect to Global Protect.
