Duo 2FA

DUO two-factor authentication is required to access a number of resources. Most notably: the Global Protect VPN, UTHSCSA accounts, and employee emails.

Prerequisites

1. A smart phone with the DUO Mobile App installed ---OR--- a DUO Hardware Token (can be purchased from TechZone for $22)
2. New Employees must have reset their password (See: Initial login: UTHSCSA Account)
3. Students must have their livemail account setup

Registering your DUO two-factor account

1. New employees/students will receive an email from no-reply@duosecurity.com with a subject line of UT Health Science Center Two-Factor Authentication Enrollment. Check your University email account.
   
    
2. Click on the unique link provided in the email and follow the instructions to create your DUO account.
